Type in a piece of text or paste a piece of text into Text2Speech and it will read it out loud. A nice computer voice will speak out the text you type or paste. If you want to, you can share the MP3 audio file for that text.

Text2Speech will work on a PC that runs Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
To get Text2Speech to work on a PC powered by these Windows editions, you will have to complete a standard installation process. There’s nothing complicated about it, it won’t take much of your time.

At the top of the application's interface there’s a text box – use it to type in or paste in some text. Next to it there are four buttons: Say, Say All, Share, and Clear. The main panel, the one underneath the text box and the aforementioned buttons, lists all the text you entered. Please note that the trial version is limited to no more than 3 pieces of text.

Using Text2Speech is an incredibly simple process. Type in some text, hit the Say button, and the application will speak out what you type. Paste in some text, hit the same Say button, and the computer voice will read the text to you. It is so simple that even the greenest of novices won’t have any problems.

There are a couple of features that need to be mentioned here: support for multiple languages is provided, you can take the MP3 audio file for a piece of text and share it (send it out via email).

Enter a piece of text, hit a button, and Text2Speech will read it out loud.

Pros

Support for anything from Windows XP to Windows 8 is provided. Installing Text2Speech on a Windows PC is a simple matter. Figuring out the interface is an even simpler matter. Text2Speech will read out loud the text you provide. Support for multiple languages is provided. You can share the MP3 audio file for a piece of text.

Cons

The trial version is limited to 3 messages; nag screen.
